Nihad Mansour

Nihad Mansour is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Law Firm Pro Bono Project at the Pro Bono Institute since December 2019. Previously, Nihad held the position of Pro Bono Staff Attorney at the North Carolina Bar Foundation from July 2017 to November 2019 and worked as a Litigation Research Consultant for Jury-X LLC. Additional roles include Access to Justice Coordinator for the North Carolina Equal Access to Justice Commission and Research Assistant for Assistant Dean John Kasprzak at the University of North Carolina School of Law, where Nihad also co-founded the UNC Law Community Outreach Program. Nihad's early career experiences include positions as a Legal Extern at Quintiles, Summer Legal Intern with the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Judicial Extern for the Honorable Allen Baddour, and a Human Rights Brigader with Global Brigades, Inc. Nihad earned a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Global Studies and Hispanic Linguistics with a minor in Arabic from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with honors.
