Julia Belanger currently serves as a Research Assistant with the New Brunswick Law Society's Mental Health and Wellness Task Force and as a Teacher Assistant for the 1L Legal Advocacy course at the University of New Brunswick. In addition, Julia holds the position of Program Coordinator with Pro Bono Students Canada. Previous roles include Research Assistant at the University of New Brunswick, Client Services Coordinator at Bayshore HealthCare and ParaMed Home Health Care, and Statistical Assistant at Statistics Canada. Julia holds a Juris Doctor degree in Law from the University of New Brunswick, a Graduate Certificate in Victimology from Algonquin College, a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with a concentration in Psychology from Carleton University, and a DEC in Social Sciences from Cégep Heritage College.

Pro Bono Students Canada is on a mission to provide free legal support to people and communities facing barriers to justice. Founded in 1996 at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, and with Chapters at 22 law schools throughout Canada, we are the largest pro bono organization in the country.
