Ron Romano

Ron Romano has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Ron started their career as a Pharmacist and Supervising Pharmacist at Kinney Drugs, where they worked at various locations and eventually became the Regional Manager for the northern region, overseeing 19 stores. Ron then joined ProAct Inc. Rx as a Clinical Pharmacist before joining Claxton Hepburn Medical Center as a Pharmacist. At the medical center, Ron filled inpatient orders, compounded medications, and provided patient counseling and education. Ron also performed clinical functions and worked with healthcare professionals to assist in patient care. Ron later returned to ProAct, this time as Manager of Clinical Programs, where they oversaw prior authorization processes and clinical and cost-saving programs. Ron then became a Clinical Account Director, responsible for managing customer accounts. Most recently, Ron has transitioned to the role of Director of Regulatory and Compliance at ProAct - PBM, where they maintain an effective compliance program and oversees training and development programs.

Ron Romano attended the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences from 1991 to 1996. Ron earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy during this time.
