Kn Rao

KN Rao has over 20 years of work experience in the software development field. They most recently worked as a Senior Enterprise Software Developer at ProAssurance. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Software Developer at ITAC Solutions, where they developed MVC using various technologies such as Entity Framework, ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, and SQL Server.

From 2013 to 2020, Rao worked at Command Alkon as a Software Engineer II. In this role, they designed and developed MVC using Entity Framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#/.Net, and SQL Server. They were also involved in native mobile app design and development using technologies like Ionic Framework, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, JavaScript, and Node.

Before that, Rao was a Lead Programmer/Analyst at BBVA Compass, where they managed the development of a content-rich dashboard for the Collections department and worked on Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence projects using PL/SQL and stored procedures.

Earlier in their career, Rao worked as an IT Consultant at Kinder Morgan, where they worked on OLTP system development using C#/.Net, Oracle, SOA, and OOP. They also worked on the development of an Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence using PL/SQL stored procedures, Hyperion SQR, and Business Objects/Crystal Reports.

They also have experience working on proprietary software, including the development of an Auto Body Parts Inventory system.

Rao began their career as a Programmer Analyst at Corporate Business Systems Inc., where they worked on data migration, bug fixes, and report development for clients such as Motorola Inc. and Color Edge.

They also worked briefly as a Programming Analyst at Digitek Systems.

KN Rao has a diverse education history spanning multiple fields of study. From 2019 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Cyber Security at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they earned a M.E. degree in Information Engineering and Management at the same institution. In 1994 to 1996, KN Rao attended the Bureau Of Data Processing Systems, where they received a PG Diploma and EDP Management in Computer Applications. Lastly, from 1993 to 1996, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Acharya Nagarjuna University with a specialization in Accounting.
