Marcie Claas

Marcie Claas has over 24 years of work experience in various roles related to human resources. Marcie began their career at The University of Georgia, where they served as a Career Events Coordinator from September 1997 to August 2001. Marcie then joined Podiatry Insurance Company of America (PICA) as a Human Resources Generalist from November 2001 to April 2005.

In September 2005, Marcie Claas joined PICA Group as a Human Resources Director and worked in this position until April 2009. Following this, they joined ProAssurance and held multiple roles, including Human Resources Director of PICA from April 2009 to May 2012, Director of Organizational Development from April 2012 to May 2016, Human Resources Business Partner from May 2016 to May 2019, and finally Director of Employee Engagement from May 2019 to October 2021.

Currently, Marcie Claas is working at ProAssurance as an Assistant Vice President, Human Resources, starting from October 2021.

Marcie Claas received their BA in Psychology from The University of Georgia from 1994 to 1997. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute in January 2016.
