Caroline Gavin

Caroline Gavin PhD is a prominent scientist specializing in cell therapy and immunology. Currently serving as a PD Scientist in Cell Therapy at Procella Therapeutics AB since March 2020, Caroline is dedicated to developing a cardiac stem cell therapy in collaboration with AstraZeneca for patients with advanced heart failure. Prior experience includes a PhD from Karolinska Institutet, where research focused on the interaction of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) with immune cells and their application in autoimmune diseases.
