Ally Lai

Ally Lai is a skilled Product Development Engineer at PROCEPT BioRobotics, contributing expertise in product innovation since June 2022. With prior experience as a Research and Development Engineer, Ally has engaged in developing novel protocols for assessing postural balance using smartphone technology while interning at Cal Poly Human Motion Biomechanics Lab from June 2021 to June 2022. Educationally grounded in Biomedical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, Ally has also served as an Instructional Student Assistant for SolidWorks and a Learning Assistant for General Chemistry, demonstrating strong teaching and support skills throughout the engineering curriculum. Previous internship experience at PROCEPT BioRobotics involved assessing usability of robotic systems and collaborating in engineering processes, enhancing practical knowledge in mechanical fabrication and experimental design.
