James Badia

James Badia has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and medical devices. James most recently worked at PROCEPT BioRobotics as the Senior Director of Mechanical Engineering. Prior to this, they held roles such as Senior Manager of R&D and Clinical Engineering, Senior Director of Clinical Engineering, and Director of Product Development and Advanced Engineering at the same company. James has also worked as a Medical Device Consultant at JB consulting, a Senior R&D Engineer at Creganna - Tactx Medical, a Sr. Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager at CIRTEC Medical Systems, and a Gear Manufacturing Engineer at AW North Carolina. James began their career as an Engineering Intern at AVE.

James Badia obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2000. Additionally, they obtained the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2011.
