Michal Zátka has extensive work experience in project management and engineering roles in various industries. Michal started their career in 2007 as a Mechatronics Engineer at Plastik HT a.s., where they were involved in planning, implementation, and commissioning of assembly and control machines. Michal also gained experience in programming PLCs, HMIs, drive technologies, and industrial cameras.

In 2008, Michal joined Rockwell Automation as a Project Engineer, where they worked on projects in the pharmaceutical, military, and food industries. Their responsibilities included programming PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, as well as being responsible for industrial communications and database development.

In 2009, Michal joined ESONIC a.s. as a PLC/SCADA Engineer, focusing on projects in the brewery and food industry. Michal further developed their skills in programming PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, as well as Java and VB.net scripting.

Since 2010, Michal has been working at Process Automation Solutions. Michal started as an Application Engineer, responsible for planning, implementation, and commissioning of projects in various industries, including automotive, energy, food, chemical, and pharmaceutical. Michal also gained experience as an IT and network administrator and developed applications using VB.net.

Michal then progressed to the role of Lead Application Engineer/Project Manager, where they led and managed projects in the automotive, energy, food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Their responsibilities included acquisitions, risk management, planning and scheduling, budgeting, cost and time control, and communication with customers and providers.

Most recently, Michal served as the Head of the Department BiW at Process Automation Solutions. In this role, they were responsible for leading and managing a department that realized projects in the automotive industry, particularly in the body shop, paint shop, and final assembly areas. Their responsibilities included acquisitions, budgeting, business development, communication with customers and providers, and process improvement.

Throughout their career, Michal has demonstrated strong leadership and project management skills, as well as expertise in automation technologies and system integration.

Michal Zátka's education history begins with their attendance at the Technical High School in Prague from 2002 to 2006, where they studied digital electronics. Michal then pursued higher education at the Banking Institute College in Prague, earning a Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies - Project Manager from 2008 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Michal Zátka has obtained several certifications. These include the certification of Professional Competence in Electrical Engineering according to notice no.194/2022 - Π7 from UNIT s.r.o. | Centrum technického vzdělávání in June 2023. Michal also holds a Commissioning Qualification within the framework of the group standard VASS05 and VASS06, obtained from ŠKODA AUTO a.s. in November 2020.

Other certifications include the Inbetriebnahmerqualifizierung "Elektrik" im Rahmen des Konzernstandards VASS05 from Volkswagen Coaching Gmbh in March 2018, the VASS V05 Phoenix Contact SPS - Inbetriebnehmerqualifizierung im Projekt AU326 from Audi Akademie Hungaria Kft. in October 2017, and the Advanced Factory Automation (Siemens Solution Partner) from Siemens in August 2017.

Furthermore, Michal Zátka has obtained additional certifications including the VASS standard certification for project Kvasiny - "SUV", SE326, SK326/1, SK326 from ŠKODA AUTO a.s. in April 2015, the Inbetriebnahmerqualifizierung "Elektrik" im Rahmen des Konzernstandards VASS05 from Volkswagen Coaching Gmbh in October 2012, and the Professional Competence in Electrical Engineering according to notice no. 50/1978 - Π6, Π7, Π8 from Process Automation Solutions CZ, s.r.o in October 2019. Lastly, they obtained an Inbetriebnahmerqualifizierung im Rahmen des Konzernstandards VASS06 from Volkswagen Coaching Gmbh in May 2019.
