Mark MacMurchy has a strong background in software development and engineering. Mark worked as an Associate Vice President and Software Development Manager at PSCL, where they currently hold the position. Prior to that, they were a Software Development Manager and Lead Software Engineer at Imaging Dynamics Company. Mark also worked as a Senior Software Developer and GIS Programmer at IHS Product Design. In their early career, Mark worked at NovAtel as a Geomatics Engineer and later as a Geomatics Test Engineer, where they specialized in algorithm design and development for high-accuracy GNSS receivers. Mark has extensive experience in agile software development, project management, and mentoring new employees.
Mark MacMurchy obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Calgary, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. Mark also holds a certification as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng), although the institution, month, and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
