Cristian Mustata

Cristian Mustata serves as the Head of Group Retail at ProCredit Holding since August 2025, where responsibilities include driving growth and innovation in retail banking, leading strategy across markets, overseeing customer journey design, and steering digital transformation. Prior to this role, Cristian was Deputy Executive Director at BCR from October 2014 to August 2025, focusing on defining and implementing the Digital Strategy and managing digital platforms. Previous experience includes leadership positions at Alpha Bank, where Cristian managed online banking and contact center operations, and began as a Junior Software Developer at ICT.ROM Integrated Computer Technologies. Cristian holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from WU Executive Academy and has additional executive education from IESE Business School, along with a Bachelor’s degree in IT Economics from the Academy of Economic Studies.
