David Burgio

David Burgio has over 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles in the pharmaceutical and health care sectors, notably serving as Senior Vice President for Research and Development in Global Personal Health Care at Procter & Gamble from January 2007 to January 2020. Prior roles at Procter & Gamble included Director and Associate Director in Research and Development for Personal Health Care and P&G Pharmaceuticals. David's earlier experience includes roles as Clinical Pharmacologist at Quintiles and Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. David began a career in research at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and managed clinical laboratories at the Kentucky Diabetes Foundation. Educational qualifications comprise a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences/Pharmacokinetics from the University of Kentucky and a BA in Chemistry from Berea College.
