Samuel Wrest

Samuel Wrest has a diverse work experience in various industries. Samuel started their career as a Writer at Mag Publishing in 2007 and worked there until 2009. In 2010, they joined Sheffield Doc/Fest as an Operations and Production Assistant. After that, they worked as an English Teacher at Xinyu University from 2011 to 2012. In the same year, they joined The Home Agency as a Copywriter and remained in that role until 2014. From 2014 to 2017, Samuel worked at Dezan Shira & Associates, first as an Editor and later as a Managing Editor. In 2017, they joined Procurement Leaders as a Senior Analyst, Sustainability and then moved to the role of Principal Analyst, Sustainability from 2019 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Head of ESG Research & Community at Procurement Leaders.

Samuel Wrest completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from The University of Huddersfield from 2005 to 2008. Samuel later pursued a Master's Degree in Chinese Studies at The University of Edinburgh from 2012 to 2014.
