John Maratea

John Maratea is a seasoned sales leader with nearly two decades of experience. Throughout his career Maratea has focused on building, scaling, and fostering the growth of strong teams, which he emphasizes as an imperative for organizational success.

Prior to Procursys, John served as Vice President for Eastern US Sales for Zuora, a software company developing payment platforms for the subscription industry. In this position, he supported and advised CEOs and founders on developing strong and nuanced go-to-market strategies for subscription and recurring revenue-based business models. He was responsible for forecasting and quota achievement, field management strategy, and driving pipeline growth across his region.

Maratea has also held leadership positions at software and services companies ranging from Fortune 100 companies to early-stage start-ups. His experience spans nearly a decade at Oracle, as well as roles at The Computer Merchant, Winter Wyman Companies, and Zmags.

Maratea received his B.S. from Syracuse University in Psychology. He lives outside of Boston with his wife and two young children.
