Petra Kolesarova

Petra Kolesarova has a wealth of experience in the venture capital and technology sectors. Petra is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of SPEEQO, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they were an Investment Associate at Block.one, EOS VC, the USD $1B venture capital arm of blockchain software company Block.one, from 2018-2020. Petra was also Vice President at Alternative Intelligence Capital (or "AI Capital"), a Hong Kong evergreen VC fund, from 2017-2018. Her other roles include Business Development at Kapacity from 2017-2018, Investment Team at SpaceKnow Inc., DayTrip and BookMeBus (exited) from 2016-2017, Associate at Credo Ventures from 2015-2016, and Lawyer at INSTINCT from 2014-2015.

Petra Kolesarova obtained their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Univerzita Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici in 2007-2010. Petra then went on to receive their Master of Laws from the same institution in 2010-2012. In 2012-2013, Petra earned their Juris Doctor (Dr.) from Univerzita Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici, specializing in International Law. Petra also attended the University of Haifa in 2010-2011, where they earned a Global Law degree. Finally, Petra completed their Master of Laws (LL.M.) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2013-2014, specializing in International Business Law and Intellectual Property. Additionally, Petra obtained a Legal Specialist Certification from Black Duck Software in February 2016 and a Sommelier Junior from The Association of Sommeliers of the Slovak Republic in June 2013.
