Vincent Alfieri

Vincent Alfieri has a diverse work experience. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Product Manager for Digital Gadgets LLC, where they were responsible for development and import of retail products, working with factories to develop new, innovative products, and maintaining day to day operations of the company. From 2013 to 2016, they were the Owner of VSA Productions LLC. In 2015, they began working for The Flatiron School, first as a Learn Expert, where they assisted students online who were learning to code, troubleshot students' code, and walked students through Ruby, Rails, and Javascript curriculum. Vincent then became a Web Development Instructor, focusing on Ruby, Rails, Git, Heroku, JavaScript, and Bash, as well as leading small and large group code reviews and mentoring students and providing one on one coaching. Since 2017, they have been the Head of DevOps and Security for ProDeal, where they are responsible for deployment and managing the AWS infrastructure using S3, EC2, CodeDeploy, CodeBuild, Terraform, KMS, IAM, VPC, Code Pipeline, CloudFront, and has implemented Continuous Delivery and Integration using AWS Code Pipeline, Code Build, and has contributed to core application using Elixir and SCSS.

Vincent Alfieri attended The Flatiron School in 2015, where they studied Ruby on Rails. Vincent then attended DeVry University from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Networking and Communications Management. Vincent continued their studies at DeVry University from 2009 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems- Database Management. In March 2020, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
