Guy Austin

Guy Austin has a diverse work experience in credit risk and portfolio management. Guy began their career as a Credit Risk Analyst at FinChoice, where they focused on credit risk, marketing, and operational reporting. After that, they worked at afb - all you can be, first as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, where they focused on improving the BI and analytics for the payroll business in Ghana. Later, they served as the Head of Credit Risk and Collections, leading a team in South Africa and Ghana to manage credit risk and optimize strategies. Austin then joined Carbon as a Credit Risk Manager before joining Prodigy Finance. At Prodigy Finance, they initially held the role of Credit Risk Portfolio Manager, where they were responsible for loan management, asset behavior, impairment calculations, and optimizing recovery strategies. Guy currently serves as the Head of Credit, overseeing the credit function at Prodigy Finance.

Guy Austin attended the University of Cape Town from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Chemical Engineering.
