Mathias Jakob

Mathias Jakob is currently working as the CTO and Co-Founder at Prodlane since January 2021. In this role, they are responsible for developing a data-driven workspace for industrial product management and development. Mathias focuses on creating intelligent documentation that links content directly to underlying data, increasing transparency, and enabling data-driven decision making.

Prior to Prodlane, Mathias worked at EBCsoft GmbH from October 2016 to April 2021. Mathias started as a Software Engineering Trainee and later became a Xamarin Developer, specializing in developing companion apps for a CAFM system. As a Team Lead App-Development, they led a team in creating apps that supported various aspects of facility management, such as stocktaking, meter reading, order processing, and inventory management. The goal was to provide users with a user-friendly and intuitive platform for managing and tracking facility assets, resources, and processes.

Mathias Jakob completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Informatik at Leipzig University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree, specializing in Wirtschaftsinformatik, also at Leipzig University, from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, in September 2022, they obtained the HHL Executive Entrepreneurship Certificate from the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management.
