Tim Rich

Tim Rich, SHRM-CP has extensive experience in human resources management. Tim has held various leadership roles in both corporate and academic settings. From 2020 to the present, they have served as the Human Resources Director at ProAg, where they provide strategic HR leadership to a company with over 400 employees. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2020, Tim was the Vice President of Human Resources (CHRO) at the University of Northwestern - St. Paul, managing HR services for a media company and a university with 1500+ employees. From 1998 to 2003, they worked as the Director of Human Resources at the University of Minnesota, overseeing HR support to business and operations departments. Before that, Tim worked as a Human Resources Manager at Bluestem Brands-Fingerhut, where they directed the HR division for two plant locations. Tim also worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at the University of Minnesota and as a Human Resources Generalist at Northwest Airlines. Tim Rich, SHRM-CP holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Tim also obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Human Resource Management from Concordia University-St. Paul. Additionally, Tim has pursued graduate work in Human Resource Development at the University of Minnesota.

Tim has obtained several certifications in different areas. Tim completed the "Building Trust" certification from LinkedIn in December 2021 and the "Communication Foundations" certification from LinkedIn in April 2021. Tim also holds certifications such as the "Human Capital Strategist" from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) and the "Myers Briggs Type Indicator" from The Myers-Briggs Company.
