Ron Suman currently serves as the Logistics Chair for ProductCamp Austin, an inclusive (un)conference for product management and marketing professionals. Previously, Ron held various leadership roles at SXSW from October 1999 to October 2021, including Director of Strategy & Insights, where the focus was on crafting customer journeys and maximizing ROI through audience segmentation and actionable business metrics. As Director of Marketing, Ron developed a strategic marketing plan based on customer feedback and led the transition to marketing automation. In the role of Global Head of Sales & Operations, Ron oversaw product development and quality assurance, implementing go-to-market strategies and conducting profitability audits. Ron Suman earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University and a Data Analytics certificate from General Assembly.

In the spirit of BarCamp, ProductCamp is a collaborative, user organized unconference, focused on Product Management and Marketing topics. At ProductCamp there are no "attendees," since everyone participates in some manner: presenting, leading a roundtable discussion, helping with logistics, securing sponsorship, or volunteering. ProductCamp is a great opportunity for marketing and product management professionals to learn from, teach to, and network with others! From the ProductCampAustin experience, it is understood that everyone has something they can teach and everyone has something they can learn.
