Elvis D'Souza

Elvis D'Souza has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to data architecture, business intelligence, and software development. Elvis'smost recent position was as the Chief Data Architect at Productive Edge, where they are currently employed. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr. Business Intelligence Architect at Attunix from 2019 to 2020.

Elvis has significant experience in the field of data warehousing and business intelligence. Elvis spent a majority of their career at Tomra North America, Inc., starting as a SQL Database and Business Intelligence Developer in 2007 and eventually becoming the Sr. Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Manager. In this role, they led the reengineering of a new BI platform for Tomra through Microsoft Azure, enhanced reporting and analysis capabilities, optimized SQL queries, created data warehouses, and implemented business rules to load and transform data between systems.

Prior to their work at Tomra, Elvis worked as a Software Engineer at Ascension Logistics in 2006, where they developed queries and data-driven applications for a Warehouse Management System. Earlier in their career, they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Marquette University in 2004, and as a PD&ED Apprenticeship at Saudi Aramco from 2000 to 2003, where they worked on online educational courses and multimedia content.

Elvis has demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and a track record of successfully leading projects and teams in the field.

Elvis D'Souza pursued their education at Marquette University from 2000 to 2006, where they obtained a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Additionally, they hold several certifications including Accounting Analytics, People Analytics, Operations Analytics, Customer Analytics from Coursera, as well as MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014, MCSE: Data Management and Analytics, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, MCSE: Business Intelligence from Microsoft. Furthermore, they have achieved Snowflake Sales Professional Accreditation and Snowflake Technical Sales Professional Accreditation from Snowflake. Lastly, they have completed the course Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals from Coursera.
