Colin Burns

Senior Research Economist at Productivity Commission

Colin Burns is a Senior Research Economist at the Productivity Commission since February 2017, following a role as a Research Intern at the Reserve Bank of Australia from December 2015 to January 2016. Colin holds a Master of Statistics with a focus on statistical learning from The Australian National University, where studies were completed between July 2019 and November 2023. Additionally, Colin earned a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics, as well as Finance, at The University of Queensland from February 2011 to November 2016.
