Guillaume Cadoux has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and 3D printing. Guillaume is currently the Technical Manager and R&D Manager at PRODWAYS GROUP, responsible for overseeing technical operations and research and development in 3D printing. Prior to this, Cadoux worked as a Process Engineer and Field Service Engineer at Fives Machining Systems, where they specialized in laser technology and was responsible for machine setup and process optimization. Earlier in their career, Cadoux worked at IREPA LASER as a Laser Process Engineer, focusing on additive manufacturing and the development of the CLAD technology for metal part repair and construction. Guillaume also worked as a Laser Technician, specializing in additive manufacturing using the CLAD process. Cadoux's experience includes working with a variety of materials, such as superalloys, and they have a strong background in mechanical, automation, and electrical engineering.
Guillaume Cadoux completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Génie Optique Photonique from Victor Bérard in Morez from 2010 to 2012. Afterward, they attended INSA Strasbourg from 2012 to 2014, where they pursued a Master's degree (M1) in Responsable Techniques d'Applications Laser Industrielles. During their time at INSA Strasbourg, they studied various subjects such as laser, materials, management, programming, and CAD and CAM design.
In addition to their formal education, Guillaume Cadoux obtained several certifications. In May 2014, they achieved the "Responsable sécurité laser niveau III" certification from the Comité national de sécurité optique (CNSO). Later, in December 2019, they completed the "Experimentation for Improvement" course offered by Université McMaster through Coursera. Recently, in February 2020, they received training in "FANUC Training ARCTOOL" from FANUC FRANCE.
