Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a background in developing collaborative solutions and educational technology. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has played key roles in hardware and firmware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Prior experience includes serving as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for the forestry industry's harvester units. Additionally, Chris has academic experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
