István Martis

István Martis has a diverse and extensive work experience. István started their career as a Research Consultant at Nicholson International in 2002. Later, they worked as a Business Development Consultant at Chronos International Budapest/Chicago. In 2005, they became a Senior Associate at Korn/Ferry International, specializing in advanced technology and financial services.

In 2004, Martis founded RSVP.hu, an online event organizer platform, where they served as the CEO until 2008. István then joined Central Media Group (previously Sanoma Media Budapest) and held various roles, including Head of Sales, Sales Director of Digital Services, and Portfolio Director of Job Classifieds.

In 2015, Martis became the CEO of Profession.hu, a market-leading job portal and digital recruitment service provider in Hungary. István successfully managed a team of over 200 colleagues and served more than 15,000 companies annually.

Martis also worked as an Investor at ENSPORT from 2018 to 2022 and as the Managing Director of Job Classifieds at Ringier Axel Springer Media AG from 2018 to 2021.

In 2019, Martis took on the role of CEO for StepStone Poland, where they developed the business plan and built a team from scratch, successfully running the business for two years.
