Dan McCarthy

Dan McCarthy is a seasoned commentator and writer with extensive experience in sports media. Currently serving as a Formula 1 writer for GPFans NL since May 2023, McCarthy also operates as a freelance darts commentator for the Professional Darts Corporation and provides comprehensive football commentary for various organizations including Pitch International, Gravity Media, IMG, DAZN, ITN Productions, TIM WHITE MEDIA CONSULTANCY LIMITED, B4 Capital, and adi.tv since 2018. McCarthy's notable contributions include world feed commentary on EFL games and the UEFA Europa League, along with televised international matches. McCarthy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Leeds, earned between 2013 and 2016, following an education at Woodkirk Academy from 2006 to 2013.
