Emily Tarle is a highly experienced professional in the nuclear energy sector, currently serving as the Deputy Site Vice President at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station with Ontario Power Generation since September 2018. In addition to this role, Emily holds titles such as Internal Member of the New Nuclear Review Board and VP in various engineering capacities within the organization. With a strong commitment to mentorship, Emily actively contributes as a mentor for Women in Nuclear Canada and serves as a Confidence Coach with DAWNuclear. Previous positions include Chief Engineering Officer at Laurentis Energy Partners and a secondment as Organizational Effectiveness Leader in Training with the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations. Emily was recognized as one of Canada's Most Powerful Women Top 100 in 2021. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from McMaster University.
