M. R. Riazi

M. R. Riazi currently serves as Chair and Professor of Chemical & Natural Gas Engineering at Texas A&M University-Kingsville since August 2023. Riazi is an established leader within the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), holding the titles of Director of Fuels and Petrochemicals Division and Fellow of AIChE since April 2013. Additionally, Riazi has been the Editor of the Book Series on Fuels and Petrochemicals at CRC / Taylor & Francis since January 2019 and the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Oil, Gas and Coal Technology since January 2007. Previous roles include Director and CEO of Montreal Oil & Gas Inc. from November 2013 to July 2023, and Professor of Chemical Engineering at Kuwait University from January 1994 to March 2022. Riazi has also contributed as a consultant and project manager for Kuwait Oil Company and held several editorial and leadership positions with ASTM International. Riazi earned both M.Sc and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.

Professional Engineers Ontario
