Stephanie Thompson, P.Eng, has extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, currently serving as Technical Manager at General Motors since August 2001, where responsibilities include leading teams in continuous improvement projects and ensuring compliance with business metrics. In addition to a role as Director at Innovate Niagara, Stephanie is also the Founder and CEO of STEM by Steph, promoting STEM workshops for women. As a certified Professional Engineer in Ontario, Stephanie contributes to the Board of Trustees at Brock University and participated as an astronaut applicant with the Canadian Space Agency in 2016. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Professional Management Certificate from Brock University.

Professional Engineers Ontario

Professional Engineers Ontario governs over 91,000 licence and certificate holders, grants temporary, limited and provisional licences to practise professional engineering, and authorizes businesses to provide engineering services to the public.
