John Burns

John Burns is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as a Licensed Sales Executive at PIA Northeast since April 2024, John previously held the position of Director of Business Insurance Placement at ONEGROUP Risk Management and Insurance from May 2023 to April 2024. John’s career includes over a decade as an Executive Commercial Lines Underwriter for Errors and Omissions at Utica Mutual Insurance Company, from November 2010 to May 2023, and a role in Risk Management at Tapley Insurance Agency, Inc. from February 2006 to July 2010. John is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University, where studies were completed from 1988 to 1992.
