Izak Smit

Izak Smit serves as the Group Chief Executive Officer at PPS since July 2016. Prior to that, Izak was the Managing Executive for (non-bank) financial services distribution at Absa Group from January 2005 to January 2016. Izak holds a Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from the University of Oxford, a BCom Honours in Economics from the University of Pretoria, and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries of Scotland from the Faculty of Actuaries Scotland. Additionally, Izak obtained a BCom Honours in Actuarial Mathematics from Stellenbosch University.
