David Hoover

David Hoover has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. David started in 2005 as the Director of the Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital at Carolinas HealthCare System. From 2012 to present, they worked as a Pediatric Surgeon at WakeMed. In 2015, they co-founded MDinterconnect Inc. and served as the Chief Medical Advisor until 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Medical Officer at Proficient Health since 2019.

David Hoover completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine at The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University from 1991 to 1995. Later, from 2000 to 2005, they pursued a Pediatric Surgery Residency Program at Northwestern University.
