Marc S. Theisen, M. Sc., CPESC, CPSWQ, CESSWI

Marc S. Theisen, M. Sc., CPESC, CPSWQ, CESSWI has over 30 years of experience in the erosion control and geosynthetic industries. Marc S. began their career at Tensar International as the Manager of Erosion Control Products from 1988 to 1990. Marc S. then joined Synthetic Industries (now Propex) as the Director of the Geosynthetic Products Division from 1990 to 2003. During their time at Synthetic Industries, Marc played a key role in developing and overseeing geosynthetic products. In 2003, Marc joined Profile Products as the Vice President, where they led the business development and technical services teams. Marc S. was responsible for developing a comprehensive line of erosion control, sediment control, turf reinforcement, and stormwater treatment devices. Marc holds patents for various products in these areas. Marc S. later became the Vice President of Business Development and Technical Services, overseeing a wide range of responsibilities within the company.

Marc S. Theisen, M. Sc., CPESC, CPSWQ, CESSWI, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Biology with a focus on Ecology from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2016. In the same year, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Plant Ecology from the University of Denver. Additionally, Marc has obtained several certifications from EnviroCert International, Inc. These certifications include being a Certified Erosion, Sediment and Storm Water Inspector since August 2010, a Certified Professional in Storm Water Quality since August 2008, and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control since March 2002.
