Giedrius Ramašauskas

Giedrius Ramašauskas has been working in the tech industry since 2012. In that year, they started as a Senior Engineer at TEO LT, AB, where they were responsible for ensuring uninterruptible power supply to technological equipment, as well as electrical power equipment maintenance and preparation of various required technical and investment documentation. In 2013, they became a Professional Poker Player and applied, developed, and practiced skills for the game of No Limit Hold'em. In 2014, they became a Web Developer at Kashing Limited, where they wrote HTML/CSS/JS and Ruby on Rails code, and did backend development using Ruby on Rails and Padrino frameworks. In 2016, they were a Java Developer at 4finance, where they developed web based application backend systems using Java 8, Hibernate, Spring, Groovy, and Spock. In 2017, they became a Software Developer at Bigbank, where they worked with Java8, JavaScript (ES6, NodeJs, VueJs), Php, Docker, and Openshift3 in an agile team following scrum. Theirtasks included stabilizing and maintaining existing loan origination solutions and developing a new solution to replace the legacy system. In 2018, they joined Vinted/Kleiderkreisel as a Backend Developer in the ads and growth domains. Theirnotable contributions included designing and implementing a portal merging solution, as well as a data migration project. Giedrius is currently a Backend Developer at ProFinda, a position they have held since 2022.

Giedrius Ramašauskas studied Electrical Engineering from 2008-2012 at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, specializing in Automation and Control. Giedrius then attended Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark from 2011-2012, where they studied Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.
