Stavros Thalassinos has over 10 years of work experience. Stavros began their career in 2011 as a Postgraduate Research student (MRes) at the University of Southampton. In 2013, they worked as a Summer Intern at the University of Patras, where they gained practical work experience in creating bathymetrical charts, sub-bottom profile and side-scan sonar imaging and analysis. That same year, they began working at Enzen Global Limited - UK as a Junior Business Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for defining the To-Be solution for the Customer Services emergency response in regards to Faults, conducting gap analysis, creating business process maps, and tracking and reporting the progress of key business products. In 2016, they moved to Unit4 Granada as an Agile Business Analyst, where they were responsible for coordinating a team of 5 developers and 2 QA engineers, playing the role of the internal Product Owner, and analysing and managing requirements using Agile (Scrum) methodology. In 2017, they joined Accenture as a Business Systems Analyst, where they developed CRM applications for clients primarily focused in the consumer goods sector by using the Salesforce.com platform. In 2018, they began working at The Workshop - Inventors of play as a CRM Business Analyst, where they coordinated an external team of developers and made sure the developed solution met the quality standards and high-level requirements of stakeholders. Finally, in 2019, they joined Sequel Business Solutions Ltd as a Business Analyst. In 2021, they began working as a Product Manager at ProFinda.
Stavros Thalassinos obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Patras between 2002 and 2009. Stavros then went on to pursue an MRes in Marine Geology and Geophysics at the University of Southampton between 2010 and 2012. In addition to their degree qualifications, Stavros Thalassinos has obtained several certifications from various institutions, including Coursera, Verisk, University of Michigan, LinkedIn, and BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, between 2018 and 2022.
