John Barshinger

John Barshinger has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and companies. John started their career in 1987 as a Project Engineer at the Space Telescope Science Institute, where they worked until 1996. John then joined Ciena Corporation as the Director of IT from December 1996 to January 2006. Following that, they became the CTO, C-3PO at Profiscience Partners in January 2006 and continues in that role to the present.

John Barshinger completed a BSCSE degree in Computer Science from LeTourneau University, from 1979 to 1984. John later obtained an MSCS degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, which they attended from 1992 to 1996.
