Laura DiStefano

Laura DiStefano has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Laura currently works at ProfitSolv as a Marketing Project Coordinator, a position they started in August 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Director at Sylvan Learning from 2015 to 2022. In this role, they were responsible for managing the overall customer experience, sales, and local marketing strategies of the Sylvan Learning Center. Laura also managed the day-to-day center operations and ensured that policies and procedures were executed according to Sylvan standards.

Laura was a Mathematics Teacher at Creekside High School from 2011 to 2015, where they co-authored organic curriculum for multiple Honors courses and played a key role in creating Algebra I & Algebra I Honors Common Core curriculum for St. Johns County. Prior to that, they worked as a Mathematics Teacher at Saint John Greek Orthodox Day School from 2010 to 2011, where they achieved a pass rate of 96% in 5th to 8th grade mathematics. Laura also edited the Yearbook by collaborating with Lifetouch Yearbook Publishing Company.

Laura's teaching experience also includes a position as a Mathematics Teacher at Academy at the Lakes from 2009 to 2010, where they achieved a pass rate of 98% in various math courses and coached the Middle School Girl's Cheerleading team. Laura started their teaching career as a Mathematics Teacher and Department Head at Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School from 2007 to 2009.
