Ivo Michael

Ivo Michael has extensive experience in engineering and project management roles. Ivo currently works as an R&D Project Manager at Profoto since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Ivo Consulting as a Plastic Engineer and Industrial Designer from 2016 to present. From 2020 to 2023, they worked as a Project Manager and Industrial Designer at WSP i Sverige, specializing in the passenger experience and industrial design area. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Delivery Manager and Technical Project Manager at DevPort AB and Scania Group, where they were responsible for managing and delivering projects related to chassis components and cab interior/exterior components. Ivo also worked as a Design Engineer and Designer at PROSE from 2017 to 2018, focusing on train interior design, and as a Design Engineer at Scania Group from 2016 to 2017, specializing in cab interior design. Before that, they worked as an Industrial Designer and Design Engineer at Akriform Plast AB from 2014 to 2016, where they designed products processed from various plastic materials. Ivo also briefly worked as a Design Engineer at Skaltek in 2014.

Ivo Michael pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting in 2005 at Uppsala University, where they studied art history from 2005 to 2006. Afterwards, they attended Karlstad University from 2009 to 2012, earning a Kanidatexamen degree in innovation and design engineering. In 2011, they briefly studied design engineering at Halmstad University through a design project. That same year, Ivo also studied dinosaurs at Stockholm University, although it is not specified whether they obtained a degree in this field.
