Ben Leung

Ben Leung is an experienced Engineering and Clinical Scientist at Profound Medical Inc., since May 2016, focusing on clinical adoption of medical technology through product training and algorithm development for improved treatment outcomes. Prior to this role, Ben served as a Systems Developer, contributing to the design and testing of MRI-related aspects of the TULSA-PRO medical device. Ben's earlier experience includes a position as a Research Engineer/Physicist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, where significant research on ultrasound contrast agent microbubbles was conducted. Ben began academic contributions at Queen's University, initially as a Research Assistant, designing experiments and modeling systems, and later as a Teaching Assistant. Ben holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from Queen's University.
