Kalle Joki

Kalle Joki is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in medical technology. Since August 2017, Kalle has served as a Senior Software Engineer at Profound Medical Inc., focusing on developing the treatment planning console and embedded software for the Sonalleve MR-HIFU platform, which integrates real-time MR imaging and focused ultrasound for precise tissue ablation. Prior to this, from October 2007 to July 2017, Kalle worked at Philips as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to software development for products like RTDrive MR Prostate and MR Therapy Systems. Kalle's career began at Etteplan as a Software Developer and included a role as a Network Designer at Primatel and Test Engineer at Nokia. Kalle holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
