Lanica K.

Lanica K. has five years of work experience in research. In 2022, they began their current role as a Senior Research Associate at ProFound Therapeutics. Prior to this, they were a Research Associate at Explora BioLabs in 2021 and Novalex Biotech Resources, LLC in 2020. In 2017, they completed two research internships, one at Hasselt University and one at Abertay University, where they investigated the role of redox signaling in regulation of movement and muscle denervation and reinnervation at the neuromuscular junction in Xenopus laevis. In 2015, they completed an internship at University College Roosevelt, where they worked on a validation study for the use of actimeters in healthy elderly and assisted in a study that investigated the diet of elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment and dementia living in a Dutch nursing home.

Lanica K. began their educational journey in 2013 when they attended University College Roosevelt and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies in 2016. Lanica then moved on to the University of Amsterdam and earned a Master of Science in Neurobiology in 2018.
