Scott Cramton

Scott Cramton, Ph.D, serves as Vice President of Electrical Engineering and Director of Renewable Research at ProGen Industries since October 2023. Cramton has been the Chief Executive Officer of Protium International since January 2013, focusing on waste to energy, coal conversion, and renewable fuels. Additionally, Cramton has authored works for A Revolution in Waste to Energy since October 2000 and was the Committee Chairman for Research and Development at the National Hydrogen Foundation from January 1998 to October 2023, concentrating on efficiency research in hydrogen cells, gasification, and pyrolysis. Cramton also provided technical advisory services in electrical engineering for the national power grid at LAESA, Ltd from January 1987 to February 2023. Cramton holds a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Columbus State University and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology from Louisiana State University.
