Monica Agostinone

Monica Agostinone is an experienced Environmental Engineer currently working at PROGER s.p.a. since February 2020, specializing in environmental permitting projects within the oil and gas sector, focusing on bankable projects, air quality, and greenhouse gas aspects. Prior to this role, Monica served as an Environmental Consultant, Project Manager, and Air Quality Specialist at ERM from February 2011 to February 2020, contributing to Environmental Social and Health Impact assessments and permitting across various sectors while adhering to International Finance Corporation guidelines. Additionally, Monica's early career included a position as a Meteorology Laboratory Demonstrator at the University of Edinburgh and an internship at ITC Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation, where engagement in a Vegetation Impact Assessment project took place. Monica holds a Master of Research in Air Pollution Modelling from The University of Edinburgh and two degrees in Environmental Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
