David Huang

David Huang is a skilled software engineer with a diverse background in both software development and environmental engineering. Currently serving as a Software Engineer Intern at Symetra since May 2024, David previously held the position of Software Engineer Fellow at ProgramEquity, where contributions were made to the Amplify open-source project aimed at transforming nonprofit advocacy practices. Prior experience includes a role as a Full Stack Developer at Asolace, where dynamic web applications were developed using TypeScript and React. David has also completed a rigorous Software Engineering program at Fullstack Academy. Earlier experience in environmental engineering includes serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at YU & Associates, conducting environmental assessments, and an Environmental Apprentice role at Triumvirate Environmental. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University at Buffalo.
