Matthew Safiejko

Matthew Safiejko is a Power Assembly Engineer at Progress Rail, a Caterpillar Company, since November 2019. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as a Hardware Engineer at OneTrack from May 2019 to October 2019, and as a Technician at Pavels Racing Engines from June 2016 to May 2019, where responsibilities included building performance engines and utilizing various tools and machines. Earlier experience includes serving as an Apprentice Finish Carpenter at J23 Construction Inc. from June 2009 to August 2016, focusing on installation and adherence to blueprints and safety standards. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, completed in 2019, and previously attended the College of Lake County from 2013 to 2016.
