Carlo Lazzarini has been a member of the Executive Board of Progress-Werk Oberkirch AG since September 1, 2020, and was appointed CEO on September 5, 2020. He is responsible for the Market and Technology area.
He holds an engineering degree with a specialization in industrial automation from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Electricité et de Mécanique in Nancy, France, as well as a master's degree in mechanical engineering, also earned in Nancy. During his professional career, he obtained several certificates in Business & Administration at the Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD).
Carlo Lazzarini has 15 years of general management experience in global innovation-driven technology companies. During this time, he gathered extensive management experience in the transformation and performance improvement of companies through restructuring, business model transformation, change management, and portfolio diversification.
His industry expertise also includes a broad range of experience in the mobility sector (automotive, commercial vehicles, buses, rail vehicles, suppliers).
