Kisha Avon

Kisha Avon, SHRM-CP, currently serves as Vice Chair of the Progressive African American Network (PAAN) and holds the position of Senior Human Resources Manager at Progressive Insurance, where leadership is provided to a team of seven HR consultants supporting 4,000 full-time employees. Prior experience includes roles at Akron Children's Hospital, where Kisha was an HR Talent Selection Specialist and an Operations Specialist, collaborating with nursing leadership on staffing processes and strategies for patient and employee satisfaction. Earlier positions at Kaiser Permanente included managing the Internal Referrals Queue and serving as an HR Employment Consultant, where Kisha was instrumental in sourcing clinical and executive roles and implementing recruitment strategies. Kisha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Akron, and is pursuing further training in Targeted Selection through DDI.
