Matt Garcia

Matt Garcia has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Regional Sales Manager for Commercial Lines at Progressive Insurance since June 1996. In this role, Matt is responsible for profitably growing Commercial Lines products through Independent Agents and coaching sales staff to achieve performance goals. Previous positions at Progressive include Field Sales Development Specialist, Senior Sales Representative, and Claims Adjuster, where responsibilities ranged from executing sales strategies to handling liability claims. Additionally, Matt served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army Reserve, attaining ranks from Second Lieutenant to Captain, and held various leadership roles throughout a decade of service. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of South Florida and an Associate of Arts degree from the University of Florida.
