Mike Newman

Mike Newman has extensive experience in the subsea and environmental industries, currently serving as an Automotive Claims Adjuster at Progressive Insurance since October 2025. Prior to this role, Mike held various leadership positions at First Call Environmental from April 2022 to October 2025, where responsibilities included Regional Manager and Director of Regional Operations. Mike's career began in 2005 at Perry Slingsby Systems as an Integration Tech, leading to multiple supervisory roles in ROV operations across companies such as Deep Marine Technology, Canyon Offshore, SURF Subsea Inc., and Subsea 7. Notably, Mike has a significant background in managing ROV systems in the Gulf of Mexico, overseeing technical operations, logistics, and client needs throughout various positions held at Subsea 7 between 2011 and 2025.
