Marie Chin has extensive work experience in roles related to product development, sourcing, global operations, and merchandising. Marie started their career in 2000 as the Director of Operations at Pacific Market International (PMI) where they managed the operations of a multi-million dollar division. From 2002 to 2003, they served as the Director of Factory Management at PMI, where they were responsible for strategic global sourcing and factory relations.

Marie Chin then joined Progressive International in 2003 as the Director of Merchandising, supervising Progressive brand development and line maintenance. Marie also oversaw the Product Management staff and Graphics department, ensuring timely introductions of new products. In 2007, they briefly worked at Slam Brands as the Director of Merchandising, where they oversaw Account Management for key accounts in various channels.

Returning to Progressive International in 2009, Marie Chin held various roles including Global Sourcing Manager, Director of Global Operations, and Vice President of Global Operations. In these positions, they were responsible for developing and executing strategic plans, managing vendor strategies, overseeing negotiations, and ensuring product supply strategies aligned with customer requirements. Finally, as the Vice President of Product Development & Sourcing, they were responsible for all aspects of product development from research to production, as well as vendor and sourcing strategies to meet growth and profitability goals.
